I AM Thankful to now know I AM going to get the 100% tax exemption on my property taxes due to me being a disabled veteran. (Texas law HR3613)

I AM Thankful that this will lower my month mortgage payment by over $100 a month.

I am thankful to God. I don't mean this frivolously by any means at all. I am proud to be by his side. I am proud of the things he bestows on me and ask almost nothing in return. I can remember last year when things were so unbearable the only thing we could do was for my wife and I to cling to one another for support. No matter how bad things got, and no matter how many times negative forces tried to make us give up we stayed strong knowing that God was there preparing the way for this year. We didn't know when thing were going to get better, but we knew that the serious problems we were having would eventually subside into yesterdays memories and soon we would be back on top of things.
I can remember seeing the Jonas Brothers and the rest of the demons in the music industry trying to soak up as much power over everything as possible, going on the kids choice awards and blatantly making comments about they're true nature knowing that most were blinded by the truth.
Then earlier this year we were watching proformances of the British Music Awards and we saw Kings of Leon play "Use Somebody" with the blazing sun effect behind them, and we both started crying tears of joy when we saw this. At that moment we knew that everything was going to resolve and that we had reached the end of that horrible 2008 tunnel.
Thank you God for letting me make the decision on my own to come back to you. With you is like being home already. I am so thankful!!

For learning how to fight fire with water, instead of fighting it with more fire.

For Justin and his celestial twin, haha.

For the peace and protection of My Father's love.

For the art of cross stitch.

For the ability to remain silly and lighthearted, even after a rough day.

For Harry Potter and the anticipation of seeing it Friday.

For The Killers adding another date to their tour, so I don't have to travel 3 states away to see my favorite band.

For hope.

I'm not a bad person. And I know that. And my friends know that. And my family knows that.
And I don't have to prove myself to anyone that doesn't respect me or who I am or how I am.

I don't say bad things about people that I care about because that's not how I grew up.
I've made bad decisions and I have terrible judgment, I know that.
But a lot of those decisions I do not regret.
And all of those judgments have made me the bigger person.

Like my mom says there are Stickers and there are Walkers.
The Walkers walk when things get tough and the Stickers stick with you because they know you're important. They know you mean something. And they won't ever give up that easily.

I told someone the other day that when there is a person in your life that is toxic enough to make you feel so bad about yourself that you cry or you feel like you don't belong, then you don't need them at all.

So, I've decided that now I'm done with all of those people that i've tried so hard for all these years to impress just so they'd like me, or so i'd fit in, or so they'd think I was worth it.
But I know I'm worth it. And that's it.

I AM Thankful....

I got the cook stove fixed today.
That it only cost me $120 to do so.

Branching out to do her own thing, Audrina Patridge was out in Beverly Hills yesterday afternoon (July 10) after filming scenes for her new reality TV show.

The MTV reality starlet was all smiles in jeans and a strapless green top as she made her way down the street to where her car was parked.

In related news, Ms Patridge’s new show is being produced by “Survivor” and “The Apprentice” producer, Mark Burnett, and has a tentative title of “The Audrina Show.”

The show is set to focus on her personal and professional life and, according to Audrina, “It may or may not be in L.A.. It’s basically about my life, what everyone doesn’t see on “The Hills”—like, the other side of my life.”

Why yes I WILL be attending this movie on the 15th.

I actually ended up going to the midnight showing of the movie and here is my review.

Honestly the HP Series just keeps getting better as they go on. I didn't like the 5th movie all that much but I loved the 4th and I would have to say this is the best one yet.
David Yates. Awesome. The cinematography, tone of the movie, music, everything flows. AND on top of that all the actors have matured so much. The only one I felt gives a weak performance is Bonnie Wright. To me she just doesn't act like Ginny. However, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint are really great. Also Radcliffe and surprise surprise (not) Alan Rickman.

A lot of fans are upset about the parts of the book that have been left out and the fact they added an extra scene. I didn't like the extra scene and I think they could have left the ending the way it was in the book without it feeling repetitive (they said they cut it because the 7th book ends similarly.) Yea there were parts I didn't like that they changed, BUT when it comes to taking a book and making it into a film it can never please everyone and on top of that you can't have a 6 hour movie as to include everything.

Overall I think the movie did justice for the book and on top of that was just plain and simple a very well done film. There was a lot of humor I wasn't expecting but it was nice to have something upbeat amidst the darker feel of the film.
